I am a total noob, but must set up a lab.  Any suggestions on what equipment to buy to test 70 different pesticide residues and 30 solvents, I am all ears.  I want it to produce a nice report and link to an HPLC using the same software.  I'm looking for "workhorse" equipment, but nothing too proprietary that I can't get parts or it won't talk to other software, like mMass.  Thanks for any help.
