Topic: What is exactly relative intensity?

Hello :-)!
I'm looking for the best walues in Peak Picking to describe my spectra.
And thus, I have a question: what exactly relative intesity mean? It is relative to what?
Do you have any suggestion what value would be the best to avoid picking small rubish peaks
from the baseline?

Re: What is exactly relative intensity?

Hi,
relative intensity is relative to the intensity of spectrum base peak (the most intense peak in the spectrum). For the peak picking, however, the most universal value is signal-to-noise threshold. In the next version of mMass there will be a live preview of the threshold corresponding to current settings.
