Topic: Simulating isotopic distribution with intensity lower then one

Good day, everybody.

Just wanted to see if you face this problem too. Mmass is a nice program and I want to thank the authors for making it free! I use it a lot to simulate isotopic patterns of molecules and compare it to experimental data. So the problem is, when I simulate the isotopic pattern and input intensity less than 1%, it doesn't do its job anymore. Works fine with decimals, if the intensity is higher than 1. So, for example, I can input 1.3 intensity, but can't 0.3.

Thanks you,
Spaceman

Re: Simulating isotopic distribution with intensity lower then one

Hi,
you are right. There is a check for the intensity to be higher than 1. The intensity units are typically in "counts" so it does not make sense to have intensity between 0 and 1.
