Topic: How to import lists from excel to compare them

Hello
I would like to ask how can I import peak list from excel and directly use them for peak differences and comparison of peak lists using mMass.
Thank you
I really like the software, but haven't got the grip of it yet.

Re: How to import lists from excel to compare them

Hi,
that is quite easy :-)

If you have two columns in your excel sheet, one with the m/z values and the second one with intensities, just copy those columns to clipboard (without any header). Then open mMass and from the main menu select File -> New from Clipboard.

By default all the data are imported as profile data, however, you can convert them to regular peak list. Just go to the main menu and select Processing -> Swap Data.
